Why NVIC Matters
The Northern Valley of New Jersey — encompassing Closter, Demarest, Norwood, Harrington Park, Woodcliff Lake, and surrounding towns — is home to a thriving and rapidly growing Muslim community. Yet, there is no dedicated Islamic center to call our own.
Thousands of Muslim families travel long distances for Jumu'ah prayers, religious education, and community gatherings. Children grow up without a local Islamic school. Seniors lack accessible spiritual care. The Northern Valley Islamic Center will change that — providing a permanent, welcoming foundation for generations to come.
